MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform and manage work according to Enhanced Drilling & Client`s safety & operational expectationsMulti discipline system alignment in engineering deliveries within Enhanced Drilling technology and services. The responsibility includes leading equipment and system development and upgrades, and reliability monitoringThe Senior System Engineer will give assistance in operation support, system testing, maintenance, procurement and training. Other responsibilities include;

• Follow engineering standards and processes

• Provide support as required to maintain client interest in our technology (e.g. technical presentations) and in support of tenders, etc.

• Act as primary technical interface with clients, as required

• Contribute in engineering meetings and multidiscipline reviews

• Make necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation.

• Develop efficient maintenance procedures and methods.

• Develop technical documentation, e.g. specifications, bill of material, etc.

• Lead 3rd party outsourced work and follow up on production and documentation.

• Provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly and testing, either at 3rd party or EDR

• Provide engineering support during assembly and testing, either at 3rd party or EDR

• Perform documentation review and approval

• Assist in training personnel for Enhanced Drilling technologies

• Lead/assist incremental development of the asset fleet

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

• Experience within power supply systems, transformers, VSDs and electrical motors

• Minimum Bachelor of Science within Electro or other relevant education

• Overall multi discipline competence within Rotating equipment, Process, Control System and Instrumentation

• Knowledge of relevant offshore and subsea regulations and standards, ATEX/NORSOK/IEC etc.

• Preferred overall understanding of drilling process and subsea equipment

• Preferred well control understanding and Fluid dynamics

• Master English, both verbal and written
